URBAN ABSTRACT PHOTO SHOOT
URBAN REPETITION RESPONSE PHOTO SHOOT
On this photo shot i have had main focused on repetition as you can see in my photos i have had an eye for all sorts of repetition from water this wooden bollards. My favourite photo was the camel shadows its is my favourite because the in this image you can see to types of repetition the first being the camels the the camels shadow. This is also my favourite because its is something you do not see everyday so it makes the photo extremely different from any other repetition image.
favourite photo from capturing the moment .
László Moholy-Nagy
László Moholy-Nagy was born July 20, 1895 in Bacsbarsod, Hungary. In 1923 he took charge of the metal workshop of the Bauhaus. As a painter and photographer he worked predominantly with light. His “photograms” were composed directly on film, and his “light modulators” included mobile light effects. In the 1930s he moved to Chicago, where he organized and headed the New Bauhaus.

With these images i have looked for large structures and some things that you wouldn't see everyday. I have recreated his images but using a wide angle lens which capture the larger subjects for example the bridge. I have also focused on mainly metal which is showed a lot within his work. I have used manual mode in all of the images so i can spread all focus points around to give me a crystal clear image and complete focus on the large subject.
Alexey Titarenko
My Responses to Titarenko using ghosting editing skills
I was able to recreate his work by using Photoshop to cut out my subject then going on to copying it onto another background which I would then turn to opacity down to give to a ghost like affect When I finished this I moving my subject to wear I wanted them to be .
Refining my Ideas
before Photoshop After Photoshop
before after
before After
before After
I did not have to do much to get this image to how it look now. I put a 2 second shutter speed on my camera and waited for the right moment for the bus to come round. I have used Photoshop to make the colours stand out a bit more but not by much.
before after
I have used the same process in all three images. I have done this because it creates a olden day look to the town centre. I have used curves to brightness and darken different parts of the images. Then I used the black and white tool to create the older sort of old to the town.
with this image I tried to give it a warn look and feeling by making the contrast dark which brought out the colours within the fire and I took some of the focus away from the two men at the back to bring the attention the fire.
Final piece 1
I have chosen this as my final piece because I am very happy that I was able to create this without using Photoshop. The part that I like best is the dark red lines go across the photo because it is a classic London photograph . I created this image with thought and know what I want at the end of it. I created this photo by leaving my camera on a stone. I used the shutter speed at 2 seconds which was the right amount of time for the London red bus to drive by which i also planned myself before the image was taken.
Final piece 2
I have chosen this as my second piece because this is the completely different to my first piece. I have use Photoshop to create this affect completely so these photos was putting my Photoshop skills to the test. I love how to two bridges match in perfectly together and looks so right how I composed them both using Photoshop. I also like this image because by doing this i found new areas in Photoshop which I have never used before.
evaluation of the street photography project
The street photography project was my favourite out of the three become i was able to take more control over what i wanted to take photos of and more things related to the project which made it easier for me to have more fun with what i am photographing. My favourite part of this project was capturing the moment because i was able to get in the middle of all the action and capture the moments when they happen. I had no dislikes to the project which made the project as a whole a really good one.
